Dhaka

Dhaka, formerly known as Dacca and Jahangir Nagar, is not just the administrative capital of Bangladesh but the cultural capital as well. Dhaka has its large number of population having their multifarious cultural orientations. In addition, some historical places like, Dhakeshwary Temple, Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, Ahsan Manzil, 1857 Memorial (Bahadur Shah Park), etc. have made this city an array of diversity.

Jashore

Jashore is a district in the southwestern region of Bangladesh under Khulna Division. Jessore is the oldest district and was established in 1781. The city acts as a good transit point between Khulna and the Indian border at Benapole. The Jessore Airport, located near the Jessore city, is the prime airbase of Bangladesh Air Force. Jessore is involved in the textile and plastic industry Most visitors to Jessore will enjoy the various archaeological relics that abound here like Shahi Mosque, Imam Bara, Eleven Shiv Temple Complex, Floral Market in Gadkhali etc. Many people enjoy a visit to the birth place of Michael Madhususan Dutt who was a famous poet.

Saidpur

Saidpur a city within the Nilphamari District of Rangpur Division, Bangladesh. The city is a very important communication hub for adjoining major district headquarters. Saidpur airport is an important airport for the people of north-west region of Bangladesh. The Saidpur Railway Workshop, established in 1870, is the largest railway workshop in Bangladesh and was the major railway workshop for Assam-Bengal railway. The city is rich in culture, there is an officer’s club and a cultural club 120 years old called Silpo Sahitto Shongshod. The famous Chini Mosque is located in Saidpur, also known as Glass Mosque. The construction of the mosque started in 1863 by Haji Bakir Ali Ahmed and was completed within a year as a little prayer house. Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), founded by the Bangladesh Army and Saidpur Cantonment in situated here.

Bangkok

Bangkok welcomes more visitors than any other city in the world and it doesn't take long to realize why. Dammam

Dammam is the capital of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The judicial and administrative bodies of the province, plus several government departments, are located in the city. Dammam is the largest city in the Eastern Province, and the sixth largest in Saudi Arabia, after Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina and Taif. Dammam is important to the Muslim religion. Many Muslims from around the world visit Mecca via Dammam for Hajj. The Dammam metropolitan area and the rest of the Eastern Province are served by the King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), the largest airport in the world in terms of land area (approximately 780 km2). This city considered to be as one of the most ancient inhabited places of the country because of the discovery of a lot of antique artifacts. Dammam has a lot of attractive leisure facilities as well as cultural sites to visit. Corniche is recognized for its beautiful beaches.

Doha

Doha is the capital and most populous city of the State of Qatar. It is a modern and rapidly developing city and, considering the money being poured into construction, Doha looks set to become one of the premier cities in the Gulf within a few years. Doha was founded in the 1820s as an offshoot of Al Bidda. It was officially declared as the country's capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence. As the commercial capital of Qatar and one of the emergent financial centers in the Middle East, Doha is considered a world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. Doha accommodates Education City, an area devoted to research and education. It was also selected as host city of a number of sporting events, including the 2006 Asian Games, most of the games at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. Additionally, the city hosted the 2012 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations and is set to host a large number of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the largest metropolitan city, the other two sister cities are Patan or Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. The short form of Kathmandu is KTM, in terms of area Kathmandu valley is only slightly smaller than Singapore. Kathmandu is surrounded by four major mountains, namely: Shivapuri, Phulchowki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri, the city stands at an elevation of approximately, 1,400 meters in the bowl-shaped valley in central Nepal. Kathmandu is not only the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal but also the headquarters of the Central Region among the five development regions constituted by the 14 administrative zones of Nepal located at the central part of the country. The central region has three zones, Bagmati, Narayani, and Janakpur. Kathmandu falls in the Bagmati Zone. Kathmandu, as the gateway to Nepal Tourism, is the nerve of the country’s economy.

Kolkata

Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of West Bengal and the second largest city in India (after Mumbai). If Bangalore is the Seattle of India, than Kolkata is the sub-continent's London. It is an 'in your face' city that shocks and charms the unsuspecting visitor. Abject poverty mix inexplicably with crumbling British Raj-era gems, sprawling gardens and historical colleges. Long known as the cultural capital of India, Kolkata continues to spawn generations of poets, writers, film producers and Nobel Prize winners. If your trip only allows for a visit of one or two of India's metropolitan cities, than definitely consider placing Kolkata on your itinerary. Love it or hate it, you definitely won't forget the city on the Hooghly.

Kuala Lumpur

Muscat

Muscat is considered the pulsating heart of Oman. It is linked to Port Sultan Qaboos by Muttrah Corniche where the visitor to Muscat can view the wonderful variety of nature: golden beaches, mountainous heights, and golden sand dunes (Bawshar Sands).Perhaps what is striking about Muscat Governorate and its states is the breathtaking intermingling of ancient cultural heritage with modern style. You will see houses, gates, old markets, small shops, and winding roads redolent of authentic history, side by side with modern markets, shops, buildings, and streets stamped with modern architecture. This allows Oman to preserve its historic character, and at the same time enjoying its contemporary spirit. Muscat is renowned as one of the cleanest Arab capitals, and has gained the honour of winning the Cleanest Arab City Contest several consecutive times. Muscat as a city has played a prominent historical role due to its strategic location.

Singapore

Singapore is a hi-tech, wealthy city-state in south-east Asia, also known for the conservatism of its leaders and its strict social controls.The country comprises the main island - linked by a causeway and a bridge to the southern tip of Malaysia - and around 50 smaller islands. Once a colonial outpost of Britain, Singapore has become one of the world's most prosperous places - with glittering skyscrapers and a thriving port.
