Regent Airways (HG Aviation Limited) is a fully-owned subsidiary of Habib Group – a Chittagong-based conglomerate in business since 1947.

As a start-up airline, Regent Airways is setting standards never seen before in the local industry – starting from extensive infrastructural capabilities and modern fleet of aircraft to world-class training of its staff and adoption of highest safety standards.

The fleet of the aircraft currently consists of 02 (two) Canadian-built Bombardier Dash-8-Q300 aircraft reputed for its exceptional reliability and passenger comfort, which are maintained to European standards. The fleet is planned to expand soon with larger jet aircraft such as the Boeing 757 as Regent would begin to fly beyond the borders of Bangladesh.

Across the fleet and for every single flight, Regent is giving paramount importance to the safety of its passengers. Regent is closely working with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) – global airline industry’s leading organization, who are training the airline’s staff in the areas of safety, security, and customer service. All our staff are motivated to provide impeccable standards of services on the ground and in the air, each day, every day.

We are also making uncompromised commitments to ensure delivery of world-class services: our reservation & ticketing system is empowered by AeroPack from TTI, a French provider of IATA standard e-ticketing solutions; the flight operations is supported by solutions from Lufthansa Systems – the world’s largest provider of airline IT solutions; the engineering is strengthened by the association with respectable operator and engineering services provider for the Dash-8 aircraft based in England.

Regent Airways has also planned to develop the country’s first full-fledged maintenance hangar belonging to a private airline, one which will be spanned across a staggering 500,000 square feet of space within the area of the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
